Welcome to Language Dashboard

Bug Media LLC is a digital media company (company number 88-4293478, registered office at Kagan, Stern, Marinello & Beard, LLC - 238 West Street, Annapolis, Maryland 21401) that owns and operates Language Dashboard, a language learning application (the "App") available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store (hereinafter referred to as "we," "us," "our," or "Bug Media").

Language Dashboard provides foreign language content in easily accessible snippet form, presenting sentences side by side in your target language and English. The App supports nine languages: Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, and Spanish, with audio playback, offline downloads, and regularly updated content (the "Services").

By using the App or accessing any content or material made available by Bug Media, you understand and agree to accept and adhere to the following terms and conditions.

1. Accessing the Services

In order to access our Services, you confirm that you have read these Terms. Whenever you use our Services, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to these Terms, and you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

We may make changes to our Terms from time to time. We will publish all changes on this page with the date these amendments are made. Your continued use of our Services after any amendments constitutes your acceptance of any such amendments.

If you do not agree to comply with these Terms, please do not access or continue to use our Services.

By using our Services, you confirm that:
(i) You are at least 13 years old. Users younger than 18 should have permission from a parent or legal guardian, who will take responsibility for compliance with these Terms;
(ii) You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Purchase and License

Language Dashboard is available as a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. No subscription is required. By purchasing the App, you are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Language Dashboard on your compatible devices for personal, non-commercial use.

All payments are processed by Apple or Google. We do not process payments directly and do not have access to your payment information. Refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies.

3. Acceptable Use

When using Language Dashboard, you agree to:

• Use the App only for its intended purpose of language learning
• Not attempt to access the App or its content through unauthorized means
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or tamper with the App
• Not copy, redistribute, sell, or sublicense the App's content, including sentences, translations, or audio recordings
• Not use any automated means to access or scrape the App's content
• Not use the App to violate any laws or regulations

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for users who violate these terms.

4. Content and Intellectual Property

All content in Language Dashboard, including but not limited to sentences, translations, audio recordings, the app design, graphics, user interface, code, and the Language Dashboard name and logo, are owned by Bug Media LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws.

The content provided in the App is for your personal language learning use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the App's content without our express written permission.

5. Online Services and Content Updates

Language Dashboard includes features that rely on online services, including but not limited to:

• Delivery of language learning content (sentences, translations, and audio)
• Current Events content updates specific to each language
• Push notifications for new content
• Search functionality

The App also provides limited offline functionality. You may download up to 25 sentences for offline use. Downloaded content remains available without an internet connection.

6. Service Availability and Modifications

While we strive to maintain reliable access to the Services, we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time. This includes the right to add, remove, or change content, features, or functionality.

In the event that we discontinue the online services that Language Dashboard relies upon, we will:

• Provide at least ninety (90) days' advance notice through the App, our website, or via email where possible
• Make reasonable efforts to ensure core app functionality remains available offline, including pushing a final update that maximizes offline content availability

Your purchase grants you a license to use the App software as it exists at the time of download. We are not obligated to provide updates, new content, or continued online services indefinitely, though we intend to support the App for the foreseeable future.

7. Push Notifications

Language Dashboard may send push notifications to inform you of new content, such as Current Events updates for your selected languages. You can manage notification preferences within the App or through your device settings. Opting out of notifications will not affect your access to the App's content.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The App will be available at all times without interruption
• The App will be free from errors or bugs
• The content will be free from inaccuracies in translations or audio
• Use of the App will result in any particular level of language proficiency

We strive to provide accurate and high-quality language content but cannot guarantee perfection in every translation or audio recording.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bug Media LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:

• Reliance on translations or content for purposes beyond personal learning
• Loss of downloaded content or offline data
• Inability to access the Services due to network issues or service changes
• Any decisions made based on content provided in the App

Our maximum aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to purchase the App.

10. End User License Agreement (EULA)

10.1 License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, worldwide, and non-exclusive license to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial use.

10.2 Restrictions

You may not: copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App; reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the App; or use the App for any commercial purpose, including but not limited to using the content in language courses, tutoring, or publications.

10.3 Apple App Store Terms

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that: (i) these Terms are between you and Bug Media, not Apple; (ii) Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support; (iii) Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

You may stop using the Services at any time by deleting the App from your device.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in the State of Maryland.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
